<p>Robert Half is seeking an experienced <strong>Texas-barred attorney</strong> specializing in <strong>Trusts & Estates</strong> for a remote project. This role involves substantive work in estate planning, probate administration, fiduciary litigation, guardianship proceedings, and other contested Trusts & Estates matters.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Project Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Start Date:</strong> February 2026</li><li><strong>Duration:</strong> 3 months (with potential extension)</li><li><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $40/hour</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</li><li><strong>Hours:</strong> 10–20 hours per week</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Draft and annotate pleadings, settlement agreements, and other documents related to probate administration, fiduciary litigation, guardianship proceedings, and contested Trusts & Estates matters.</li><li>Create, review, and revise practical guidance articles on Trusts & Estates topics with a focus on probate, fiduciary litigation, and guardianships.</li><li>Develop checklists, charts, and other how-to guidance for contested Trusts & Estates matters.</li><li>Supplement existing documents with Texas-specific practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience</li></ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>J.D. from an accredited law school</strong></li><li>Active member in good standing of the <strong>Texas State Bar</strong></li><li><strong>Minimum 5 years of experience</strong> as a Texas Trusts & Estates attorney, including: </li><li>Drafting estate planning documents</li><li>Preparing pleadings and related documents</li><li>Probate administration</li><li>Fiduciary litigation</li><li>Guardianship proceedings</li><li>Other contested Trusts & Estates matters</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and legal research skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word (including track changes) and online research</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks independently</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Candidates must have at least 5 years of substantive experience in Texas Trusts & Estates law to be considered.</strong></p><p> </p>
