We are looking for a skilled and innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will contribute to both data integration processes and BI reporting, bridging technical expertise with business needs. This position offers an exciting mix of developing data pipelines, optimizing data structures, and creating insightful dashboards to support key business functions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest and process data from third-party sources into a Data Lake environment.<br>• Architect workflows using Medallion Architecture, optimizing data for bronze, silver, and gold stages.<br>• Transform and clean data to ensure consistency and usability for downstream reporting.<br>• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights to business units.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into tailored reporting solutions.<br>• Enhance and modernize existing reporting processes by transitioning from Excel-based methods to Power BI solutions.<br>• Extract and integrate data from APIs using tools like PySpark to support advanced analytics.<br>• Provide technical expertise to optimize existing pipelines and ensure scalability.<br>• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to align on reporting goals.<br>• Use Power Query and DAX functions to streamline data transformations and meet reporting needs.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines within a Data Lake environment.<br>• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX functions and Power Query.<br>• Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture and its application in data workflows.<br>• Expertise in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.<br>• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools for data transformation.<br>• Ability to collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.<br>• Optional but beneficial: Experience using PySpark to integrate data from APIs.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on technical challenges.
