A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join a dynamic accounting team in Corona, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, cost allocation, and forecasting, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical financial processes while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities:• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuations.• Prepare comprehensive cost accounting reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.• Maintain accurate records of inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.• Reconcile work-in-progress accounts and ensure proper allocation of costs.• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic decision-making.• Conduct margin analysis and profitability studies to identify business opportunities.• Provide detailed cost accounting documentation to support internal and external audits.• Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to enhance cost control measures.• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3–5 years of proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting. • Strong knowledge of standard cost systems and inventory control processes. • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve financial goals.
