Security Operations Specialist: I (Junior)
                    
					
						We are looking for a Security Operations Specialist (entry level) to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and protection of personnel and assets. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while handling security-related events.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Compile detailed reports and maintain accurate logs of all calls and activities.<br>• Oversee alarm and surveillance systems, coordinating swift responses to alerts.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service when assisting field branches and home office partners.<br>• Address emergency situations promptly and coordinate appropriate actions as outlined in company policies.<br>• Communicate effectively to document incidents involving theft, safety concerns, or other security threats.<br>• Monitor the safety and security of traveling colleagues and ensure protocols are followed.<br>• Supervise access control systems, burglar alarms, fire safety measures, and other security technologies, collaborating with the enterprise security team for issue resolution.<br>• Track global security developments through internet, social media, and news sources, following emergency protocols as necessary.<br>• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support security operations.
					
					
						• Proven experience in customer service and call center operations.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to document incidents clearly.<br>• Familiarity with alarm and surveillance systems, including access control and CCTV.<br>• Ability to monitor social media, internet, and news sources for security concerns.<br>• Solid organizational skills to create reports and maintain accurate logs.<br>• Knowledge of security protocols and policies for emergency situations.<br>• Experience in issue resolution and coordinating responses to security alerts.<br>• Comfort working onsite five days a week and adhering to assigned schedules.
