<p>We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist with SAP expertise (MUST HAVE) to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations within the defense software industry. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with deep expertise in procurement, inventory management, supplier relations, and logistics.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage supply chain activities including planning, procurement, receiving, material handling, inventory control, and shipping.</p><p>• Collaborate with suppliers to onboard and maintain supplier status, ensuring compliance and quality standards.</p><p>• Monitor supply and demand requirements, initiate purchase requisitions, process purchase orders, and oversee material receipt.</p><p>• Track and manage inventory levels, issue work orders, kit materials, and coordinate product shipments via FedEx or other carriers.</p><p>• Serve as the central resource for all supply chain functions, ensuring seamless operations and timely delivery.</p><p>• Leverage SAP systems to analyze and optimize inventory and logistics processes.</p><p>• Identify and address any gaps in the supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce delays.</p><p>• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain.</p><p>• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance supply chain performance and cost-effectiveness.</p>

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.<br>• Proven expertise in planning, procurement, inventory analysis, and shipping within a complex organizational structure.<br>• Familiarity with SAP and other enterprise resource planning systems.<br>• Strong knowledge of supplier onboarding processes and supplier relationship management.<br>• Ability to identify and resolve supply chain challenges effectively.<br>• Experience working in the defense software industry or a similar field is highly preferred.<br>• Solid communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
