Logistics Clerk
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team in Clinton Township, Michigan. This long-term contract role focuses on supporting supply chain operations through accurate data management, system optimization, and effective collaboration. The position offers an hourly rate between $18.00 and $22.00 and requires flexibility to work weekday and occasional weekend overtime as needed.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Utilize system tools to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports to support supply chain operations.<br>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data related to inventory levels, shipments, and procurement within the system.<br>• Collaborate with supply chain team members to ensure seamless order fulfillment and shipment tracking.<br>• Monitor and update order statuses, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the process.<br>• Troubleshoot technical system issues by coordinating with IT or external support teams to ensure operational continuity.<br>• Train and assist team members in effectively using relevant system tools for inventory and order management.<br>• Perform routine audits of data entries and reports to ensure compliance with company standards.<br>• Provide proactive support for improving workflow efficiency through system enhancements.<br>• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to meet operational needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.<br>• Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.<br>• Proficiency in using SAP systems, with preference for S/4 SAP experience.<br>• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, shipping, and inventory control.<br>• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry and system reporting.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide system-related guidance.<br>• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting purposes.
