We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Clayton, Missouri on a contract basis. This role involves handling various aspects of civil litigation, including discovery, drafting legal documents, and analyzing case materials. If you have a strong background in litigation and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal support, we encourage you to apply. <br> Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive discovery processes for business-related cases, including preparing requests for production, admissions, and interrogatories. • Draft detailed interrogatories tailored to the needs of complex civil litigation. • Prepare requests for admissions to streamline case proceedings and clarify disputed matters. • Create and manage requests for production of documents in compliance with Missouri state court requirements. • Review and analyze case materials to identify key legal issues and develop strategies. • Draft motions and briefs to support case arguments and legal positions. • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure effective case management and resolution. • Maintain thorough documentation of case activities and legal processes. • Stay updated on relevant laws and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in legal work. • Provide precise legal advice and support to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns. <br> The pay range for this position is 45 to 65. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation.<br>• Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri.<br>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.<br>• Strong knowledge of discovery procedures, including interrogatories and document production.<br>• Ability to manage complex cases and meet tight deadlines.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.<br>• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and high ethical standards.
