Cyber Security Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will play a vital part in securing our systems, networks, and data against potential threats. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to utilize cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance organizational security.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and implement robust security measures to protect organizational systems and infrastructure.<br>• Monitor and analyze network traffic using tools such as DataDog, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto Firewalls to identify potential threats.<br>• Manage configurations and updates for Cisco ASA devices to ensure optimal security performance.<br>• Administer and secure Active Directory environments, including Azure Cloud and Exchange Online.<br>• Investigate and respond to security incidents using advanced threat detection tools.<br>• Configure and maintain Mimecast and Zscaler solutions to enhance email and web security.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices across all platforms.<br>• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential system weaknesses.<br>• Provide technical guidance and support for firewall technologies to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Proven experience in cyber security engineering, including hands-on expertise with tools such as DataDog, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto Firewalls.<br>• Strong knowledge of Cisco ASA and other firewall technologies.<br>• Proficiency in managing and securing Active Directory, Azure Cloud, and Exchange Online environments.<br>• Familiarity with Mimecast and Zscaler for email and web security.<br>• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies.<br>• Excellent configuration management skills to maintain secure system performance.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to investigate and resolve security incidents.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
