Accounting Analyst
<p>We are looking for an Accounting Analys for a 6-month contract in Cincinnati, Ohio, within the plastics manufacturing industry. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to regulatory compliance and materials tracking while leveraging your expertise in accounting and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards in the plastics manufacturing industry.</p><p>• Analyze and track raw materials to support production and inventory management processes.</p><p>• Develop and maintain accurate bill of materials (BOM) for product manufacturing.</p><p>• Collaborate with procurement teams to provide insights and support for sourcing activities.</p><p>• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to conduct data analysis and create detailed reports.</p><p>• Design impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations.</p><p>• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives.</p><p>• Contribute to the enhancement of processes and systems for improved efficiency and accuracy.</p><p>• Ensure all activities align with organizational regulations and industry standards.</p><p>• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and resource allocation.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, analysis, or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions.<br>• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating detailed and well-organized presentations.<br>• Familiarity with bill of materials (BOM) and its application in manufacturing processes.<br>• Knowledge of regulatory compliance within the plastics or chemistry industry.<br>• Experience in procurement or sourcing support is preferred.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
