Part-Time Bookkeeper
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract/contract to hire basis in Chico, California. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the property management team with daily financial tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in bookkeeping and financial software.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process and record rent payments using QuickBooks with a high degree of accuracy.</p><p>• Collaborate with the property management team to provide updates on rent collection and financial activities.</p><p>• Perform daily financial tasks, including preparing bank deposits and ensuring timely processing.</p><p>• Enter bills and manage accounts payable processes, typically on a weekly basis.</p><p>• Record accounts receivable transactions, including donations, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.</p><p>• Reconcile bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy and identify discrepancies.</p><p>• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining organized financial records.</p>
<p>• At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.</p><p>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.</p><p>• Experience with bank reconciliations and preparing accurate financial records.</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</p><p>• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p>
