Search Engine Marketer
<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a Search Engine Marketer to join their marketing operations team. This role requires someone with hands-on experience managing bidding strategies and campaigns across Google and Bing. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, an ownership mentality, and the ability to maintain and optimize lower-funnel acquisition channels.</p><p> </p><p>You’ll be responsible for managing paid search campaigns, innovating within bid strategy, and driving measurable performance across key marketing channels.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads</li><li>Manage bid strategy to maximize ROI and influence page ranking performance</li><li>Oversee lower-funnel acquisition programs, including direct mail and vertical search platforms that aggregate insurance quotes for users</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists and performance marketing teams to analyze performance data and refine strategy</li><li>Partner with creative teams to align campaigns with brand and messaging goals</li><li>Report on campaign performance, insights, and optimization opportunities to senior marketing operations leadership</li><li>Maintain strong working knowledge of keyword optimization, campaign testing, and ad performance analytics</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3–4 years of experience in search engine marketing or performance marketing roles</li><li>Proven experience managing campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads</li><li>Deep understanding of bidding systems, keyword optimization, and campaign analytics</li><li>Strong mathematical and statistical fundamentals with an analytical mindset</li><li>Experience in marketing operations or similar analytical marketing functions</li><li>Excellent communication skills for technical collaboration (no external stakeholder management required)</li><li>AEO and GEO experience a plus</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related analytical field preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>
