Facilities Coordinator
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This role involves overseeing facility-related requests across a high volume of retail locations, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of maintenance and repair needs. As this is a Contract to permanent position, it offers an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and manage maintenance and repair requests for all retail locations, addressing issues such as locks, glass, plumbing, and other facility needs.<br>• Review lease agreements to determine whether responsibilities fall under the landlord or tenant.<br>• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of facility concerns.<br>• Utilize software tools like OfficeTrax and Microsoft Office Suite to track and manage facility-related tasks.<br>• Handle high-volume communications and requests efficiently for over 16,000 stores.<br>• Schedule and oversee maintenance services to ensure quality and compliance.<br>• Communicate effectively with facility managers, vendors, and internal teams to address operational needs.<br>• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all facility-related activities.<br>• Monitor and prioritize service requests to meet deadlines and organizational goals.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility coordination or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools within the Microsoft Office Suite.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage high volumes of requests.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration across teams.<br>• Familiarity with facilities maintenance processes and procedures.<br>• Experience using software systems such as OfficeTrax for task management.<br>• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining accurate records.<br>• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
