We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a Contract to permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual to work onsite five days a week during first shift hours. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting and advanced proficiency in Excel, along with experience using Sage software.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.<br>• Utilize Sage software to manage accounting processes and maintain accurate records.<br>• Conduct regular account reconciliations to support financial integrity.<br>• Develop and maintain detailed spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions for reporting purposes.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.<br>• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.<br>• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within the accounting function.<br>• Monitor and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.<br>• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.<br>• Perform other accounting duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail.<br>• Proficiency in Sage software is required.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.<br>• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.<br>• Ability to work onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Monday through Friday.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
