Human Resources Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Human Resources Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing key administrative tasks. This position offers an opportunity to support the HR department by maintaining records, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring smooth communication within the organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome visitors and employees warmly while maintaining an organized and efficient front desk environment.<br>• Manage the organization and cleanliness of the reception and common areas.<br>• Schedule interviews, meetings, and appointments for the HR department as needed.<br>• Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring accurate documentation and filing.<br>• Prepare and distribute HR communications, such as memos and official documents.<br>• Assist with onboarding new hires by preparing packets and coordinating orientation sessions.<br>• Monitor and restock office supplies for the HR department to ensure operational efficiency.<br>• Provide employees with information about HR policies and procedures, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.<br>• Facilitate visitor sign-ins and enforce compliance with company security protocols.<br>• Enter and update employee data in HR systems while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role, preferably within an HR setting.<br>• Proficiency in handling a multi-line phone system and managing email correspondence.<br>• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and employees.<br>• Experience with data entry and maintaining organized filing systems.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.<br>• Ability to schedule appointments and manage time efficiently.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
