Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Charlotteville, Virginia. In this Contract-to-continuing role, you will play a pivotal part in managing schedules, coordinating communications, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in organization, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate proficiency with technology and administrative tools.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and coordinate the calendar of a senior team member, including scheduling meetings and resolving double-booking conflicts.</p><p>• Communicate with clients to relay messages and arrange appointments effectively.</p><p>• Utilize a case management system to set up and maintain accurate records and processes.</p><p>• Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail, including forwarding items to appropriate offices.</p><p>• Maintain contact with government agencies when necessary to address inquiries or issues.</p><p>• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and drafting communications.</p><p>• Use Microsoft Office tools, including Teams and Outlook, to handle daily tasks and communications efficiently.</p><p>• Assist with light programming tasks and leverage internal communication platforms to support team operations.</p>
<p>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related role.</p><p>• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for high-level interactions.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, and Excel.</p><p>• Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems as needed.</p><p>• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.</p><p>• Must be available to work in-person during standard business hours.</p>
