Business Analyst
<p>We are looking for a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will focus on analyzing and refining business processes to drive operational efficiency and enhance productivity. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in the financial services industry. (1 year and could extend to another year). Remote or hybrid. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct thorough evaluations of business processes using tools such as value stream mapping and time-motion studies.</p><p>• Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.</p><p>• Develop actionable recommendations to optimize workflows and enhance overall productivity.</p><p>• Perform cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making for process improvement initiatives.</p><p>• Create and maintain performance metrics and scorecards to monitor the success of implemented changes.</p><p>• Facilitate workshops with operations teams to encourage innovative thinking and identify new opportunities for process enhancement.</p><p>• Provide training sessions to less experienced team members on business process analysis techniques and tools.</p><p>• Collaborate with project managers to ensure efficient resource utilization and consistent team performance.</p><p>• Guide cross-functional teams in aligning strategies and implementing process improvements effectively.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking and risk controls.<br>• Proven ability to analyze controls and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.<br>• Proficiency in technology tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, and other relevant platforms.<br>• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, and team training.<br>• Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.<br>• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and process improvement techniques.<br>• Familiarity with Six Sigma practices, including value stream mapping and DMAIC principles.<br>• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and related fields.
