Project Assistant
<p>We are looking for a proactive Project Assistant to support various event and project-related activities in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The role involves coordination, communication, and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations. <strong>This will be a 3 day project.</strong> The hours are Tuesday, October 14th 1pm-5pm, Wednesday, October 15th 8:30am-3:00pm and Thursday,October 16th 8:30am-3:00pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Greet and check in attendees, exhibitors, and speakers with professionalism and a welcoming attitude.</li><li>Distribute badges, wristbands, event materials, and welcome packets.</li><li>Assist with on-site registration, payment processing, and resolving check-in issues.</li><li>Provide event information, schedules, and directions to attendees.</li><li>Monitor registration area to ensure smooth flow of traffic and timely service.</li><li>Answer attendee questions and escalate issues to event staff as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendee check-in and registration updates.</li><li>Support other expo operations as assigned (e.g., guiding attendees, assisting with session entry).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in using computers, tablets, and event registration software.</li><li>Able to quickly learn and navigate new systems and platforms.</li><li>Comfortable with data entry, online check-in tools, and digital payment systems.</li><li>Strong attention to detail when entering or verifying attendee information.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues (e.g., badge printer, barcode scanner).</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace preferred.</li></ul>
