Inventory Clerk
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our manufacturing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient handling of inventory, shipping processes, and quality control tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be adaptable to a dynamic work environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist in assembling and preparing shipping crates and boxes to ensure timely delivery of goods.<br>• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking and documenting all incoming and outgoing materials.<br>• Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure all items are packed and labeled correctly before dispatch.<br>• Support the quality control team by performing inspections and verifying that products meet company standards.<br>• Organize and manage inventory storage areas to optimize space and improve accessibility.<br>• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accuracy.<br>• Cross-train in quality control processes to provide backup support during peak periods.<br>• Ensure all shipments comply with safety regulations and company policies.<br>• Communicate effectively with team members to address any inventory or shipping-related issues.<br>• Adapt to flexible working hours, including overtime, during busy periods to meet operational needs.
• Previous experience in inventory management, shipping, or related roles within the manufacturing industry.<br>• Familiarity with assembly lines and inventory tracking systems.<br>• Strong attention to detail and the ability to double-check work for accuracy.<br>• Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed in a warehouse setting.<br>• Basic knowledge of quality control processes in manufacturing environments.<br>• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.<br>• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules.
