Director of Property Management
We are looking for an experienced Director of Property Management to oversee and optimize the operations of commercial properties in Charleston, South Carolina. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of property management, tenant relations, and financial planning. Join our team and play a key role in maintaining excellence across a diverse portfolio.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead the overall management and operations of commercial properties, ensuring high-quality tenant services.<br>• Develop and oversee multi-million-dollar budgets, maintaining fiscal responsibility and optimizing financial performance.<br>• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and fostering positive communication.<br>• Negotiate lease terms and agreements, ensuring compliance with commercial property regulations.<br>• Provide strategic leadership to the property management team, fostering growth and collaboration.<br>• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.<br>• Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to streamline operations and reporting.<br>• Analyze financial data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.<br>• Implement policies and procedures to enhance property performance and tenant satisfaction.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to align property management strategies with organizational goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field; certifications such as CAMS are a plus.<br>• At least 7 years of experience in commercial property management, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.<br>• Expertise in financial planning and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.<br>• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.<br>• Proficiency in property management tools such as Yardi and other industry software.<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lease agreements, property operations, and tenant relations.<br>• Experience in civil litigation and drafting motions related to property management.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile complex financial data.
