Compensation & Benefits Specialist
<p>We are looking for a skilled HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will focus on managing and coordinating employee benefits programs, ensuring smooth administration and providing support to employees with inquiries. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to handle benefits-related tasks efficiently for a large-scale organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs across multiple locations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.</p><p>• Provide clear and detail-oriented responses to employee inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, and related policies.</p><p>• Analyze and evaluate benefit packages to ensure they meet organizational standards and employee needs.</p><p>• Oversee the administration of FMLA, medical benefits, and other insurance-related programs.</p><p>• Verify and process benefits-related documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.</p><p>• Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues related to compensation and benefits.</p><p>• Conduct periodic reviews of employee benefit plans to identify opportunities for improvement.</p><p>• Ensure proper communication and dissemination of information regarding benefits programs to employees.</p><p>• Maintain detailed records and reports related to benefits and compensation.</p><p>• Collaborate with stakeholders to support the implementation and management of benefit functions.</p>
• Proven experience in benefits administration, including coordination and analysis.<br>• Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs, insurance benefits, and related regulations.<br>• Familiarity with FMLA and other leave policies.<br>• Proficiency in handling Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and verifying benefit details.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Exceptional communication skills to address employee concerns professionally.<br>• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing benefit records.<br>• Technical proficiency and experience working with benefits-related systems.
