We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a dynamic construction company based in the south Denver Tech Center. This role requires expertise in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in project-related accounting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities:• Handle bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and timely payments.• Oversee accounts receivable functions, ensuring prompt collection of payments and accurate records.• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.• Track and maintain project accounting records, including budgets, expenses, and financial reports.• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with project goals.• Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for management review.• Assist with audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.• Support the implementation of accounting best practices to optimize processes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles. • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures and financial recordkeeping. • Experience in project accounting, including budget tracking and expense management. • Familiarity with financial software and tools commonly used in accounting. • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards.
