We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Records Management Specialist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to support critical site operations while ensuring the preservation of historical records through digitization and archiving. The role involves a combination of administrative and operational responsibilities aimed at enhancing efficiency, safety, and security during test activities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Digitize and archive historical site and test records to safeguard critical information.<br>• Manage visitor access and traffic control during test-day operations to enhance security and safety.<br>• Maintain and organize site files, including regulatory documents and test-related records.<br>• Coordinate special events and assist with community relations efforts to support site activities.<br>• Order supplies and provide logistical support for site operations.<br>• Assist in the creation and maintenance of procedural documents, including Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).<br>• Support work management tasks, including scheduling and conducting weekly status meetings.<br>• Facilitate visitor orientations and manage observations during test activities.<br>• Collaborate with the site leader to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to organizational standards.
• Proven experience in records management, including scanning and digitization.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.<br>• Familiarity with security protocols and visitor management processes.<br>• Excellent communication skills to support community relations and visitor interactions.<br>• Ability to coordinate traffic control and ensure safety during site operations.<br>• Proficiency in administrative tasks such as filing, ordering supplies, and procedure documentation.<br>• Experience in coordinating events and logistics.<br>• Must be a U.S. citizen to meet site requirements.
