Non-IT Project Manager, 3 Senior
We are looking for an experienced Non-IT Project Manager to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This long-term contract role involves overseeing critical financial projects and ensuring their successful delivery. The position requires strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of project management principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee and manage project plans using established strategic planning processes and templates.<br>• Coordinate all workstreams, including requirements development, testing, and business readiness.<br>• Implement and manage change control processes to address adjustments or unforeseen challenges.<br>• Maintain clear and effective communication with executive leadership and key stakeholders.<br>• Ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while adhering to organizational goals.<br>• Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and resolve issues.<br>• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure readiness for deployment.<br>• Lead efforts to align projects with business and organizational strategies.<br>• Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.<br>• Promote collaboration among teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.
• Extensive experience in project management, especially within financial industries.<br>• Strong knowledge of strategic planning and change management processes.<br>• Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.<br>• Familiarity with project management tools, lifecycles, and methodologies.<br>• Demonstrated ability to oversee user acceptance testing and ensure business readiness.<br>• Experience working with stakeholders and executive leadership to achieve project goals.<br>• Knowledge of retirement or securities industry is preferred but not required.<br>• Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities.
