<p>Our client is an established law firm seeking a skilled Attorney with a strong background in litigation to join their team in Canton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of legal experience and be adept at handling all aspects of litigation, from initial discovery to courtroom representation. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging cases and collaborate with a team of dedicated legal professionals on matters involving contract disputes, trade secret violations, non-compete agreements, and shareholder/partner conflicts, among other areas of business litigation.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated in court.</p><p>• Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.</p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.</p><p>• Manage discovery processes, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing relevant documents.</p><p>• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.</p><p>• Attend hearings, trials, and depositions to represent clients and argue cases.</p><p>• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal procedures and regulations relevant to civil litigation.</p><p>• Negotiate settlements when appropriate, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients.</p><p>• Analyze case files and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and client use.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards while handling cases.</p>

<p>• Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of Ohio.</p><p>• Minimum of two years of experience in civil litigation.</p><p>• Proficient in drafting legal motions, briefs, and other documentation.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and legal research techniques.</p><p>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.</p><p>• Demonstrated courtroom experience, including hearings and trials.</p><p><br></p>
