<p>We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions, and support daily branch operations to ensure smooth and secure banking experiences for our clients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict compliance and security standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Welcome customers with professionalism and assist them with inquiries, account details, and banking services.</p><p>• Provide information on bank products and services tailored to customer needs and preferences.</p><p>• Process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>• Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and manage other financial instruments in compliance with bank policies.</p><p>• Maintain and balance the cash drawer daily, ensuring all transaction records are precise and accounted for.</p><p>• Follow all regulatory and internal guidelines to guarantee secure handling of sensitive customer data.</p><p>• Identify and report any suspicious activities, supporting fraud prevention protocols.</p><p>• Support branch operations by assisting with opening and closing procedures and maintaining organized workstations.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to manage peak hours and ensure seamless branch functionality.</p><p>• Replenish supplies and ensure the workspace is adequately stocked and prepared.</p>

• Proven experience in cash handling and financial transactions.<br>• Familiarity with retail banking operations and customer service practices.<br>• Strong understanding of bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.<br>• Ability to process transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and team members.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain precise transaction records.<br>• Knowledge of fraud prevention protocols and secure handling of sensitive information.<br>• Capacity to adapt to varying workloads and support team efforts during peak times.
