The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise storage solutions, with a focus on VMware environments, vSAN, PowerShell automation, and backup & recovery tools like Cohesity and Veeam. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance across virtualized environments.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>4+ years of experience in a Storage Engineer or similar IT infrastructure role.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and vSAN administration.</li><li>Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.</li><li>Practical knowledge of Cohesity or Veeam backup and recovery solutions.</li><li>Solid understanding of storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, FC) and RAID levels.</li><li>Familiarity with performance monitoring and capacity planning tools.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li></ul>

<p>Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise storage systems, primarily focused on VMware vSphere, vSAN, and associated platforms.</p><p>Implement and manage software-defined storage (SDS) solutions using vSAN.</p><p>Automate storage-related tasks and reporting using PowerShell scripting.</p><p>Administer backup and recovery operations using Cohesity and Veeam, including backup job configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and restoration testing.</p><p>Monitor storage performance, usage, and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource utilization.</p><p>Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring robust data protection strategies.</p><p>Collaborate with virtualization, networking, and application teams to align storage services with business needs.</p><p><br></p><p>*Email valerie.montoya@rht(.com) for consideration* </p>
