We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Burke, Virginia. This role will focus on preparing individual tax returns with precision and efficiency. If you have a strong background in tax preparation and are skilled in using tax software, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare accurate and timely individual tax returns to meet client needs.<br>• Utilize tax preparation software such as UltraTax and CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline processes.<br>• Review financial information and ensure compliance with tax regulations.<br>• Address client inquiries and provide clear explanations regarding tax filings.<br>• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply them appropriately.<br>• Work collaboratively with the team to manage an increased client workload.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data responsibly.<br>• Ensure all documentation is complete and adheres to company standards.

• Proven experience in individual tax preparation.<br>• Proficiency in using UltraTax and CCH ProSystem Fx software.<br>• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.<br>• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
