We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Buford, Georgia. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to play a key role in managing essential accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. • Manage and maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reconciling accounts. • Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to verify financial transactions. • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements to provide insights into company performance. • Oversee inventory accounting processes to ensure proper valuation and reporting. • Utilize Sage 100 software for accounting tasks and reporting. • Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and create reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with standards. • Support audits and provide documentation as required to meet regulatory requirements. • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

• Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end close and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and inventory accounting. • Experience with consolidated financial statement preparation and analysis. • Advanced skills in Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
