Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our dynamic team in Bridgeton, Missouri. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Vice President & General Counsel, providing legal expertise across a variety of business operations. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by addressing complex legal matters, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organization's strategic goals.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President & General Counsel to manage legal matters such as litigation, product liability, compliance with import/export regulations, and environmental issues.<br>• Conduct thorough reviews and oversee the administration of contracts, with a focus on sales, installation, service, supply chain, and information technology agreements.<br>• Develop and maintain a comprehensive records management program to mitigate financial, legal, and reputational risks for the company.<br>• Coordinate responses to subpoenas and discovery requests, assist in managing claims, and support deposition preparations and other legal proceedings.<br>• Take responsibility for litigation management, contract oversight, and document retention processes.<br>• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders at all organizational levels on complex legal matters and risk mitigation strategies.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution is required.<br>• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate legal counsel, including contract review, risk management, and proactive legal strategy.<br>• Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, and/or civil litigation.<br>• Strong knowledge of corporate law and commercial contracts.<br>• Licensed attorney with the ability to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.<br>• Exceptional skills in drafting motions, briefing, and discovery processes.<br>• Experience with union contracts, grievances, reports, and dues management is a plus.<br>• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
