In this short-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and executing audit and financial reporting activities for a diverse portfolio of hedge funds. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with external service providers and internal teams, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial processes. Responsibilities:• Manage annual audit and financial reporting processes for a portfolio of hedge funds, including comprehensive reviews of financial statements and disclosures.• Conduct detailed analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.• Collaborate with fund administrators and auditors to meet critical deadlines and maintain high-quality reporting standards.• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance audit processes and improve operational efficiency.• Assist with audit-related projects, offering technical expertise and feedback based on prior experience.• Review financial highlights and footnotes, ensuring proper disclosure in line with accounting principles and guidelines.• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline workflows.• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities.• Communicate findings and updates clearly to team members and external stakeholders.• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant financial reporting standards.

• Strong experience in financial reporting, statement preparation, and auditing. • Familiarity with complex fund structures, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and master-feeder arrangements. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges effectively. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with advanced Excel skills preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly. • Solid time management capabilities to meet critical deadlines and deliver results.
