<p>The Senior IT Desktop and Network Engineer plays a critical role in delivering end-to-end IT support, maintaining robust network infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of IT systems. This position involves managing service desk tickets via JIRA, administering Nutanix and VMware virtualization platforms, and supporting a range of on-premises Dell server models.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Endpoint & User Management</strong></p><ul><li>Configure and manage desktops and laptops using Microsoft Intune and Active Directory.</li><li>Administer user accounts, email services, and applications within the Microsoft 365 environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Network Infrastructure</strong></p><ul><li>Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network switches and routers to maintain high availability and performance.</li><li>Resolve issues related to DNS, DHCP, and LDAP authentication services.</li></ul><p><strong>Virtualization & Server Administration</strong></p><ul><li>Administer VMware and Nutanix environments, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, network virtualization, and VSAN.</li><li>Deploy and maintain Dell PowerEdge servers to support scalable and reliable infrastructure.</li><li>Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux operating systems (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu) across virtual and physical environments.</li></ul><p><strong>Systems & Services Support</strong></p><ul><li>Manage Windows Active Directory, including domain controller setup and maintenance.</li><li>Configure and support print servers, troubleshoot spooler services, and resolve printer/scanner issues.</li><li>Administer boardroom and video conferencing systems to ensure seamless meeting experiences.</li></ul><p><strong>Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)</strong></p><ul><li>Provision and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.</li><li>Configure TLS certificates via AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) to secure communications.</li><li>Support Elastic Load Balancers (ELB/ALB) for traffic distribution and high availability.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.</li><li>Manage containerized applications using ECS, EKS, or Docker on EC2.</li><li>Support hybrid cloud environments and integrate with on-prem infrastructure.</li></ul><p><strong>Field Support</strong></p><ul><li>Travel quarterly to remote sites to provide hands-on IT support and ensure infrastructure alignment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in IT systems and network support.</li><li>Strong understanding of network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.</li><li>Expertise in virtualization technologies and Dell server management.</li><li>Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.</li></ul><p><br></p>
