<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Contested Foreclosure Specialist to assist our local client on a contract basis. In this critical role, you will manage and track foreclosure cases that are being disputed, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory guidelines. This role requires legal knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work alongside attorneys, lenders, and courts to resolve contested foreclosure situations efficiently and effectively.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Review foreclosure files to determine if cases are contested.</p><p>Collaborate with legal teams to respond to challenges raised by homeowners or borrowers.</p><p>Monitor and track case progress, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.</p><p>Handle documentation and ensure all records meet regulatory requirements.</p><p>Provide recommendations for resolving complex situations in compliance with laws.</p><p>Update databases and systems with accurate case status updates.</p><p>Communicate with external parties such as lenders, attorneys, courts, and borrowers regarding case details.</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Proven experience in foreclosure, contested cases, or a similar legal/administrative role.</p><p>Knowledge of foreclosure and real estate regulations, including contested case processes.</p><p>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</p><p>Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.</p>
