We are currently seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Support Specialist to assist our local client on a contract basis. <p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Prepare, review, and file bankruptcy documentation, including petitions, schedules, statements, and motions, in compliance with federal and local bankruptcy laws.</p><p>Monitor and track case progress, deadlines, and communications with courts, attorneys, and creditors.</p><p>Serve as the point of contact for inquiries pertaining to bankruptcy filings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.</p><p>Maintain detailed and organized electronic records to ensure proper case management and accessibility by all relevant parties.</p><p>Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and trustees to execute processes related to bankruptcy cases successfully.</p><p>Stay informed about updates in bankruptcy laws and court procedures.</p><p>Collaborate with internal departments to resolve conflicts and ensure compliance with organizational policies.</p><p><br></p><p>Required Qualifications</p><p>Proven experience in bankruptcy case management or a related legal support role (e.g., paralegal, legal assistant).</p><p>Familiarity with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy processes.</p><p>Proficiency in utilizing Case Management/E-filing software such as CM/ECF or similar platforms.</p><p>Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.</p><p>Strong understanding of legal language, terminology, and federal/state regulatory compliance.</p><p>Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p>
