Embedded Developer
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Developer to support the development and integration of high-performance computer systems for a long-term contract position. This role is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, and involves working on firmware and embedded Linux systems to enable seamless hardware functionality. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for low-level programming and hardware coordination, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and develop firmware and embedded software for systems operating on Linux platforms.<br>• Build data flow diagrams to ensure effective system coordination and communication.<br>• Create firmware-level programs to initialize and control hardware components.<br>• Collaborate closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and system integration.<br>• Work directly with machine-level systems, focusing on hardware and low-level software functionality.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the development and integration phases.<br>• Test and validate firmware and embedded software to ensure optimal performance.<br>• Document technical processes and system designs for future reference and project continuity.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems programming, particularly in embedded environments.<br>• Proficiency in Rust is strongly preferred, with C/C++ as secondary options.<br>• Solid understanding of embedded systems and low-level hardware coordination.<br>• Hands-on experience with firmware development and board-level system bring-up.<br>• Familiarity with Linux-based platforms and their integration with hardware.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and discussing technical solutions.
