Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Biola, California. In this long-term contract position, you will oversee and streamline logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in distribution and shipping processes who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Plan and execute the efficient transportation and distribution of goods to meet operational timelines.<br>• Monitor shipping activities to ensure compliance with customs regulations and company standards.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics workflows.<br>• Resolve issues related to transportation delays, damaged goods, or other logistical challenges.<br>• Maintain detailed records of shipping activities and inventory levels for reporting purposes.<br>• Analyze logistical processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.<br>• Ensure all documentation related to shipping and customs is accurate and up-to-date.<br>• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to maintain timely deliveries and address potential disruptions.<br>• Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status.<br>• Support the implementation of logistics strategies to align with organizational goals.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role within a manufacturing setting.<br>• Strong knowledge of distribution processes, shipping functions, and customs regulations.<br>• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.<br>• Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventory.<br>• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to shipping and transportation.<br>• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
