Sr. Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. This contract position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting financial planning and analysis for the organization, with direct exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports while providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and maintain monthly profit and loss statements and dashboards that compare actual performance against budgets and prior year metrics.<br>• Investigate and analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and historical data to identify key trends and opportunities.<br>• Assist in creating annual operating and capital budgets by collecting and evaluating cost projections.<br>• Build advanced financial models to consolidate and interpret data for decision-making purposes.<br>• Support the development of quarterly reforecasts by analyzing current financial trends and projections.<br>• Prepare detailed departmental expense reports, including comparisons against budgeted and historical figures.<br>• Conduct research and analysis to address inquiries from senior leadership and provide actionable insights.<br>• Generate management reports and perform ad hoc analyses as needed to support organizational goals.<br>• Contribute to special projects that address strategic business issues and improve operational efficiency.<br>• Participate in system or process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline.<br>• At least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking; experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.<br>• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.<br>• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an advantage.<br>• Experience with financial and planning systems is preferred.<br>• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
