Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Bethel, Vermont. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate employee records. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the plastics manufacturing industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and manage employee onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.<br>• Maintain and update employee information in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with accuracy and confidentiality.<br>• Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility as part of the hiring process.<br>• Provide support to employee relations initiatives, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.<br>• Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic planning.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth communication and address HR-related needs.<br>• Participate in the implementation and improvement of HR systems to enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and company guidelines.<br>• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
• Proven experience in human resources administration or a related role.<br>• Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and experience managing employee data.<br>• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employment verification procedures.<br>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support employee relations.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.<br>• Knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations.<br>• Proficiency in using HR software and tools.<br>• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
