Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Bethel, Vermont. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting HR operations, ensuring seamless onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate employee records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic plastics manufacturing environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.<br>• Maintain and update employee information within HRIS systems to ensure data integrity.<br>• Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility in compliance with company policies.<br>• Support employee relations initiatives by addressing inquiries and providing relevant information.<br>• Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate administrative processes, including record-keeping and reporting.<br>• Coordinate training sessions and orientations to help employees integrate into the company culture.<br>• Monitor compliance with HR-related policies and regulations, providing guidance when necessary.<br>• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for HR-related projects and meetings.<br>• Manage communication with employees regarding HR-related concerns or updates.<br>• Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
• Previous experience in HR administration or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in using HRIS systems for managing employee data.<br>• Familiarity with onboarding processes and background checks.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support employee relations.<br>• Attention to detail and organizational abilities for maintaining accurate records.<br>• Knowledge of HR policies and regulations.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools for reporting and documentation.
