HR Assistant
<p>We are looking for a dedicated HR Assistant to join our clients team in Bethel, Vermont. Great entry level HR role for anyone with a solid administrative foundation that can maintain confidentiality. Any exposure to HR or ADP is a plus! In this role, you will support various human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including coordinating interviews and preparing new employee documentation.</p><p>• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.</p><p>• Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.</p><p>• Process payroll and timekeeping data using systems such as Kronos or similar software.</p><p>• Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures with professionalism and discretion.</p><p>• Support training initiatives by organizing materials and tracking employee participation.</p><p>• Collaborate with management to promote employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to labor laws and company standards through regular audits and updates.</p><p>• Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making processes.</p><p>• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.</p>
• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.<br>• 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably within manufacturing or industrial settings.<br>• Familiarity with HR laws, practices, and procedures.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with payroll systems such as Kronos is a plus.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all employee levels.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br>• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
