<p>We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding our network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks in a dynamic environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Monitor network activity and endpoint devices to detect and respond to security incidents.</p><p>• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and implement measures to address identified risks.</p><p>• Manage and optimize security tools to maintain robust protection across systems.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, and internal organizational standards.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.</p><p>• Implement and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls for enhanced network protection.</p><p>• Develop and document security policies and procedures to strengthen overall infrastructure.</p><p>• Provide support and training to team members on security protocols and best practices</p>

<p>• Proven experience working with Palo Alto Firewalls and related security technologies.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its role in network security.</p><p>• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and ASA devices.</p><p>• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.</p><p>• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and address security risks effectively.</p><p>• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</p><p>• Strong communication skills for collaboration and reporting</p>
