We are looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to take the lead in managing and optimizing our accounting operations across multiple locations. As a growing automotive company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we seek a strategic thinker who can ensure compliance, streamline processes, and contribute to our long-term financial success. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leadership and drive impactful changes within a dynamic environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct and oversee all accounting operations across multi-site locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Develop and implement strategies to enhance accounting workflows and operational effectiveness.<br>• Provide leadership in restructuring the department to optimize processes and team performance.<br>• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure strong internal controls.<br>• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.<br>• Collaborate with executive leadership to create and support strategic financial plans.<br>• Coordinate audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax consultants.<br>• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software.<br>• Mentor and guide accounting staff to build a high-performing and cohesive team.

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.</p><p>• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multi-site or multi-state setting.</p><p>• Expertise in GAAP accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.</p><p>• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to build and manage effective teams.</p><p>• Background in the automotive industry or similar fields is highly desirable.</p><p>• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</p><p>• Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CPA) is a strong advantage.</p><p><br></p><p>For confidential consideration, please reach out to Emily Schneller, Robert Half Recruiting Manager, at 504-264-5922.
