PC Technician
We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team for a contract position in Baraboo, Wisconsin. In this role, you will assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of replacement computers, ensuring they meet department-specific requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and problem-solving skills while supporting end users with their desktop systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Unpack and set up replacement computers according to departmental requirements.<br>• Configure pre-imaged systems and perform necessary adjustments for individual users.<br>• Conduct thorough testing of devices to ensure optimal functionality.<br>• Install computers at designated locations and provide assistance with desktop relocations.<br>• Address helpdesk tickets as needed to resolve technical issues.<br>• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems.<br>• Manage cable installations and ensure proper infrastructure setup.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline system configurations and deployments.<br>• Provide user training and support to ensure smooth transitions to new devices.
• Experience with computer hardware setup, imaging, and troubleshooting.<br>• Proficiency in configuring systems, including Windows and associated software.<br>• Familiarity with cable installation and infrastructure setup.<br>• Knowledge of Dell technologies and desktop imaging processes.<br>• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.<br>• Strong understanding of configuration management and system adjustments.<br>• Effective communication skills to assist end users and collaborate with the team.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage tasks within a specified timeframe.
