We are looking for a skilled Procurement Analyst to join our client's team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between procurement efforts and various internal departments, including executive leadership, engineering, sales, and manufacturing. Your expertise will be essential for managing high-value programs and ensuring efficient project execution while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with internal teams during the bidding phase to develop procurement strategies and plans.• Evaluate contract specifications and bills of materials to identify and prequalify suitable vendors.• Analyze vendor quotes to ensure scope completeness and negotiate agreements to secure optimal terms.• Facilitate the transition of procurement documents and knowledge from the bidding phase to project teams.• Incorporate market intelligence, such as pricing trends and logistical considerations, into procurement strategies.• Review and interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and project schedules to ensure procurement alignment.• Travel to project sites, manufacturers, and vendors as necessary to oversee procurement processes.• Identify opportunities for cost savings and alternative solutions, including material and labor efficiencies.• Monitor evolving compliance requirements and adjust procurement plans accordingly.• Manage post-award procurement implementation to align with project objectives.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training. • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage cross-functional relationships. • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and negotiating contracts with OEMs, subcontractors, and fabricators. • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to facilitate clear and effective interactions. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Excel for managing procurement workflows. • Familiarity with accounting principles to support procurement-related financial tasks. • Experience in corporate procurement, supply chain management, logistics, and contract negotiations.
