Medical Customer Service Rep
We are looking for a dedicated Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in Bakersfield, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient care by managing supplies, interacting with patients, and supporting staff in a healthcare setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your customer service skills in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Maintain and organize sterile and clean supplies to support patient care in surgical settings.<br>• Restock supplies efficiently between patient room visits to ensure readiness for procedures.<br>• Communicate effectively with patients to address their needs and provide a positive experience.<br>• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth operations and timely support.<br>• Handle inbound calls related to patient inquiries and billing concerns with professionalism.<br>• Utilize basic medical terminology to assist in accurate communication and documentation.<br>• Ensure patient satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a customer-focused approach.<br>• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to ensure continuous availability of necessary supplies.<br>• Follow established protocols to maintain a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within a call center or healthcare setting.<br>• Strong knowledge of basic medical terminology.<br>• Proven ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.<br>• Experience handling inbound calls and providing resolution to inquiries.<br>• Familiarity with patient billing processes and systems.<br>• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining and stocking supplies.<br>• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
