Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will support claims management operations and handle administrative tasks with precision and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in claims or insurance who thrive in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist in managing claims-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br>• Perform thorough data entry and verification of information to support case processing.<br>• Utilize case management software to track and update claim statuses effectively.<br>• Prepare discovery documents and assist in trial preparation as needed.<br>• Support civil litigation processes by organizing case files and coordinating with legal teams.<br>• Collaborate with claims managers to streamline workflows and address high-volume caseloads.<br>• Maintain meticulous records and ensure all legal documentation is properly filed.<br>• Provide administrative support to legal staff, including managing schedules and correspondence.<br>• Leverage technology tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy in claims handling.<br>• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines throughout all processes.
• Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably with claims or insurance expertise.<br>• Strong proficiency in case management software and other legal tools.<br>• Familiarity with discovery processes, civil litigation, and trial preparation.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to manage high workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.<br>• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Background in handling claims or insurance-related cases is highly desirable.
