<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to hire a <strong>Network Engineer (contract).</strong> Please note, that this is a <strong>hybrid role</strong> and will require 3+ days onsite per week.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Implement and maintain network infrastructure to deliver availability, scalability and security</li><li>Build and utilize advanced tools like Prometheus and Grafana to enhance observability, monitor network health, and ensure performance</li><li>Manage and optimize complex routing protocols</li><li>Configure and manage firewalls similar to Juniper or Palo Alto, to enforce security policies</li><li>Maintain and write automation scrips using Python, Bash, or Ansible</li><li>Track network incidents with precision</li></ul>
