<p><strong>M365 Platform Engineer</strong></p><p>Austin, TX | Hybrid | Contract-to-Hire</p><p><br></p><p>We are partnering with an Austin-based client to hire a Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer. You'll be responsible for oversight of an enterprise M365 environment with expert-level skills in Exchange (on-prem and cloud). This is a hands-on, mid-to-senior level role for someone who thrives in evolving environments, challenges the status quo, and can turn strategy into execution.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Own and support the Exchange environment, including distribution lists and mail flow management, hybrid Exchange administration, and optimize multiple spam filtering solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex email delivery, security, and performance issues. </li><li>Ensure stability, reliability, and security of messaging services. </li><li>Partner with infrastructure, security, and end-user support teams to resolve issues efficiently.</li><li>Assist with developing roadmaps, governance, processes, and policies aligning to business and IT strategy.</li><li>Lead and contribute to the re-architecture of the Exchange/mail platform.</li><li>Identify opportunities to simplify, modernize, and improve the M365 environment. </li><li>Document architectural decisions and communicate impact to technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.</li><li>5+ years of experience in enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange environments (hybrid environments required).</li><li>Experience migrating on-prem Microsoft Exchange mailboxes from a single organization to multiple Exchange Online tenants.</li><li>Solid working knowledge of: Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Intune, and Purview.</li><li>Experience utilizing JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.</li><li>Ability to explain technical projects to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience designing, engineering, implementing, and managing multiple Azure tenants.</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Benefit Offerings:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li><li>401(k) and retirement plans</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Employee and vendor discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>And many more!</li></ul>
