<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify an <strong>IT Project Manager (contract). </strong>As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project</p><p>Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. <strong>This role is on-site in Austin, Tx, you must already live in Austin. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinating duties and responsibilities with PEMS Sprint Teams and Provider Services.</li><li>Development, maintenance, and monitoring of integrated project timelines in coordination with PEMS project timelines.</li><li>Ensuring that the project plan maintains tasks, schedules, and status updates as well as disseminating information to team members.</li><li>Oversight and reporting of critical path dependencies between PEMS projects.</li><li>Communicating project status, issues, and risks to department management, vendors, Provider Services and PEMS sprint teams. Developing mitigation plans as necessary.</li><li>Communicating status of program initiatives to department management and other impacted stakeholders.</li><li>Planning and managing efficient project meetings and documenting key decisions.</li><li>Designing strategies to mitigate or avoid identified project risks and difficulties.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience in management of large-scale IT projects, including system integration, resource management, procurement transition and vendor management.</li><li>7+ years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems, including Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).</li><li>7+ years of experience in ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions; to develop and evaluate policies and procedures; to prepare reports.</li><li>7+ years of demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.</li><li>7+ years of experience with Medicaid business operations.</li><li>7+ years of experience overseeing the planning and execution of major projects, including facilitation and documentation of high-level critical path dependencies across multiple projects.</li><li>7+ years of experience successfully leading meetings and facilitating discussions between multiple stakeholder groups, including vendors.</li><li>7+ years of expertise using Microsoft Office products: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook.</li><li>7+ years of ability to establish project goals and objectives that support the state and HHS strategic plans as well as federal directives.</li><li>7+ years of proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.</li><li>7+ years having excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.</li><li>7+ years of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.</li><li>Required Oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Required certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience with Texas Health and Human Services programs.</li><li>2+ years of experience with provider enrollment systems.</li><li>Scrum Master certification preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Benefit Offerings:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li><li>401(k) and retirement plans</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Employee and vendor discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>And many more!</li></ul><p><br></p>
