HR Generalist
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Austin, Texas. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to support various HR functions, including employee relations, data analytics, and onboarding processes. The role requires in-office presence four days per week and provides a chance to work in a dynamic downtown environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage time administration tasks, including special leave categories such as bereavement and sick leave pool.<br>• Update and refresh the employee handbook to ensure compliance with current policies.<br>• Develop interview tools and selection systems to assist managers in hiring decisions.<br>• Conduct research and maintain accurate records to support employee relations initiatives.<br>• Oversee the internship program, including onboarding and addressing day-to-day inquiries.<br>• Summarize employee engagement data and implement quarterly or annual reporting processes.<br>• Perform data entry and reporting using Workday and other HR systems.<br>• Maintain personnel files, employee documentation, and hiring packets to ensure organized HR administration.<br>• Support onboarding and offboarding processes while managing required posters and intranet content.<br>• Coordinate payroll functions as part of near-future responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience in the field.<br>• Proven experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.<br>• Strong understanding of employee relations and HR administration practices.<br>• Ability to design and implement selection tools for hiring processes.<br>• Experience in overseeing onboarding and internship programs.<br>• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting within HR contexts.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining HR records.<br>• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and employees.
