<p><strong>Robert Half </strong>is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a<strong> DevOps Engineer (contract)</strong>. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability across our development and production environments. This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD practices who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments. <strong>This role is in Austin, Tx. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.</li><li>Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).</li><li>Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.</li><li>Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployment processes.</li><li>Automate routine tasks and improve system reliability through scripting and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).</li><li>Ensure security best practices are followed in deployment and infrastructure management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
